Fees & practical info

Duration & Fees

Therapy sessions last 60 minutes and cost €85 per session.

Sessions are available:

  • In person in Utrecht

  • Online

A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available. If cost is a concern, please feel free to mention this when you get in touch.

Insurance

Depending on your supplementary insurance policy, you may be able to receive partial reimbursement for therapy.

I do not submit claims directly to insurance companies, but I am happy to provide invoices or any documentation you may need to submit a claim yourself.

Because reimbursement varies between insurers and policies, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, are charged at the full session fee.

Confidentiality

Everything discussed during therapy is confidential.

The only exceptions are situations where I have a legal or ethical duty to act, such as if there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or someone else. We can discuss confidentiality in more detail during our first session, and you can also find further information in my Terms & Conditions.

What to expect

01

First conversation

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other.

We'll explore what's brought you to therapy, discuss your current concerns, and talk about what you're hoping to achieve. I'll also ask some questions about your background so we can begin building a shared understanding of your situation.

This first meeting is also a chance for you to decide whether working together feels like a good fit.

02

Ongoing therapy

Once we've agreed to continue, sessions usually take place weekly or every other week.

Therapy is collaborative and flexible. Some periods may be more exploratory, while others focus on specific goals or challenges. Together we'll regularly reflect on how the work is progressing and adjust our approach when needed.

03

Ending therapy

Therapy doesn't have to last forever.

When the time feels right, we'll spend time reflecting on the progress you've made, the changes you've experienced, and how you can continue supporting yourself beyond therapy.

Endings are an important part of the therapeutic process, and we'll plan them together rather than ending abruptly whenever possible.

Have questions before getting started?

I'd be happy to help.
