Individual therapy
Individual therapy is a space to explore emotional difficulties, patterns in your life, and the challenges you are currently facing.
What it can help with
-
anxiety and chronic worry
-
burnout and stress
-
trauma and difficult experiences
-
identity and self-esteem
-
relationship difficulties
-
emotional overwhelm
-
life transitions
-
LGBTQ+ related concerns (identity, gender, sexuality, relationships)
What to expect
In the first 1–3 sessions, we focus on:
-
understanding your current situation
-
exploring relevant life history
-
previous therapy experiences
-
clarifying what you would like to change
From there, we gradually shape a therapeutic direction together.
Therapy can be:
-
short-term or long-term
-
structured or exploratory
-
focused on insight, regulation, or change—depending on your needs
About the therapy process
My approach is integrative and flexible. I draw from different methods depending on what is most helpful, including talk therapy, trauma-informed work, and creative or experiential approaches when appropriate.
Note on relationships: In some cases, partners may be involved in sessions when it supports the individual therapeutic process.
